年10月17日晚上7:00，川外学坛“学子之星”学术讨论在博文楼六楼报告厅如期举行。此次学坛的主题为“意象图式与语言认知”，由姜孟教授主持， 2012级研究生陈姝桦主讲，各年级研究生参加了本次活动。
首先，2012级研究生安彩芳同学和大家分享了本次学坛活动的两句箴言：“人一能之，己百之；人十能之，己千之。——《中庸》”、“明主思短而益善，暗主护短而永愚。——唐·吴兢《贞观政要·求谏》”。
接下来，陈姝桦就“意象图式与语言认知”这一主题作了陈述。陈述分为四部分，第一部分简要介绍了意象图式这一概念，主要论述了意象图式的定义、特点以及八类意象图式；第二部分则以at 和over为例进一步详细阐释了意象图式；第三部分主要阐述意象图式与语言认知的关系，指出意象图式反映了语言背后的认知构造机制；第四部分则为大家展示了意象图式的研究进展和前言。陈姝桦的讲解内容充实，深入浅出，紧扣学术前沿，在场同学受益匪浅。
最后，姜孟教授带着大家回顾了整个ppt并做了简短点评，对同学们提出的问题也做出了中肯的回答。这次讲座信息量丰富，大家收获颇多。
本次学坛活动在热烈的掌声中圆满结束。

at 7 pm, oct. 17th, 2013, the sisu academic forum opened as scheduled. hosted by prof. jiang meng, this report entitled “image schema and language cognition” was given by chen shuhua and it enjoyed a heated discussion.
as usual, two mottoes were shared with the audience by an caifang, which benefited the audience greatly.
chen’s report consisted of four parts. the first part elaborated on the main ideas about image schema, including the definition, the features and eight categories of image schema. the second part offered a further analysis of image schema through the examples of at image schema and over image schema. the third part focused on the relationship between image schema and language cognition. the fourth part provided us with the latest research on image schema. students were greatly impressed by this fruitful report.
in the end, several inspiring questions were discussed after the report and professor jiang’s answers enlightened the students a lot. in a word, the report turned out to be a great success with the applause of the students.
